When you walk into NewME Dental Implants of Houston, you are entering a new chapter in your life.
People who are searching for “Dental Implants Near Me” are often desperate to find a solution to dental problems that have plagued them for years. They have struggled with a multitude of dental issues. Missing teeth, broken teeth, and gum disease have caused pain, discomfort, and embarrassment that have severely impacted their lives. They often feel alone in their struggles and are looking for answers to tons of questions.
The first thing everyone at our Houston office will reassure them of is that they are not the first person to walk through our doors feeling that way. We have seen people with everything from severe periodontal disease, gum damage, and severe bone loss in their jaws. People come to us with a few missing teeth or a mouth with no teeth. Be assured, there’s nothing we haven’t seen.
As a patient at NewME Dental Implants of Houston, you can expect dental care tailored to your specific needs.
Every patient receives a comprehensive examination, which includes advanced digital imaging. Dr. Tareq Beck and his team of professionals then develop a plan that leads to placement of high quality implants that are nothing short of life-changing.
Our goal is for you to leave our office with a permanent solution to your dental problems and a great looking smile you’ll be happy to show the world.
A Dental Implant has three connected pieces that work together. First, a small post is placed in the jaw. A supportive connector (known as an abutment) and your custom restoration make up the other parts. The posts, connector and your realistic, tooth-like restoration combine to function as close to real teeth as possible.
The process of getting Dental Implants is much less painful than people think. That isn’t to say it is completely without some pain or temporary discomfort, but Dr. Beck has extensive training and experience in Sedation Dentistry.
You’ll be given local anesthesia to start. Some patients say they feel pressure or vibration, but not severe pain. For patients who have a real fear of the process, we offer twilight sedation which can make the whole procedure seem like it is over in no time.
For a few days after the procedure, you can expect some soreness and mild swelling. Some bruising is normal.
Some of our patients have been told by another dentist they are beyond help. They’ve lost so many teeth that bone in their jaws no longer receives stimulation from chewing. Their appearance has changed because of jawbone shrinkage.
In many of those cases, Dr. Beck recommends using Zygomatic Dental Implants instead of the standard 4-on-4 implants. The zygomatic bone (cheek bone) is used to support these types of implants.
Everyone who comes to NewME Dental Implants of Houston is unique. We want you to ask questions. We will give you honest answers. An initial exam will help Dr. Beck determine if you are a candidate for implants.
If the answer is “yes,” and you feel comfortable moving forward, we create a personalized treatment plan based on your health history, comprehensive exam and advanced digital scans.
Using 3D modeling, we map out each step of the placement process and review the plan with you, answering all your questions honestly and thoroughly.
